nbn® Fixed Wireless uses a small outdoor antenna fixed to your roof or eave, pointed at a nearby nbn® tower, to deliver broadband without a cable running all the way to your home. It's built specifically for the roughly 6% of Australian premises — mostly regional towns and outer-metro fringe areas — that sit outside the fibre and Fixed Line footprint.

What's involved
Outdoor antenna
A technician installs a small antenna on your roof or an external wall, aimed at your nearest nbn® Fixed Wireless tower.
Indoor modem
A cable runs from the antenna to a supplied nbn® connection box, then to your own modem/router.
Installation timing
